Introduction
Welcome to Trip8. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Trip8 platform, available at trip8.app and through our mobile applications. By creating an account or submitting a trip brief, you agree to these terms in full.
Trip8 is operated by Trip8 MMC, a company incorporated in the Republic of Azerbaijan. We are a marketplace: we connect travelers with independent local experts who design and deliver travel itineraries. Trip8 is not a travel agency and does not itself deliver travel services.
Using Trip8
To use Trip8 as a traveler, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide in your trip brief.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You may not share your account, impersonate another user, or create accounts for fraudulent purposes. Trip8 reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Trip briefs
When you submit a trip brief, it is shared with eligible local experts in the relevant region. Your first brief is free. Each additional brief carries a small, non-refundable fee, which keeps requests genuine and protects local experts from spam. This fee is separate from any trip price: you are not committed to any proposal, and you only pay for a trip when you explicitly select and pay for a proposal you choose.

Local experts
Local experts on Trip8 are independent contractors, not employees of Trip8. By joining as an expert, you confirm that you have the legal right to offer the services described in your profile and itineraries, including any required licenses or permits under Azerbaijani law.
Offers & commitments
When a traveler accepts your offer and completes payment, you enter a binding service agreement with that traveler. You are required to deliver the itinerary as described, or communicate changes in advance. Repeated failure to deliver as promised may result in removal from the platform.
Verification
All experts undergo identity verification and an interview with the Trip8 team before going live. Trip8 reserves the right to suspend or remove any expert whose conduct falls below the standard expected, based on traveler feedback or our own review.
Payments & refunds
All payments are processed securely through Trip8. When you pay for an offer, your funds are held by Trip8 and released to the local expert after the trip is completed and you confirm satisfaction — or automatically 48 hours after the trip end date if no dispute is raised.
Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is made relative to the trip start date. See the Cancellations section below. In cases of expert cancellation or failure to deliver services as agreed, a full refund will be issued automatically.
Cancellations
Each offer may carry its own cancellation terms set by the local expert. If no custom policy is stated, the following default policy applies:
All cancellations must be submitted through the Trip8 platform. Cancellations communicated only to the local expert are not valid for refund processing. Force majeure events (natural disasters, government travel bans) are handled case-by-case — contact support immediately.

Liability
Trip8 is a marketplace platform. The travel services described in any itinerary are designed and delivered by independent local experts, not by Trip8. To the maximum extent permitted by Azerbaijani law, Trip8 is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or disappointment arising from the delivery of a trip.
However, we take quality seriously. If an expert fails to deliver a paid service, we will investigate promptly and issue a refund where appropriate. All experts carry personal liability insurance as a condition of joining Trip8.
Trip8's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the platform will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific trip in question.
Privacy & data
When you use Trip8, we collect data you provide (name, contact details, trip preferences) and data generated by your use of the platform (search queries, offer views, message history). We use this data to match you with relevant local experts, process payments, and improve the platform.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your trip brief is shared only with eligible local experts in the relevant region, and your contact details are shared with an expert only after you accept their offer and complete payment.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We comply with the data protection requirements of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Any disputes arising from your use of Trip8 that cannot be resolved directly with our support team will be referred to the courts of Baku, Azerbaijan.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Trip8 reserves the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
